Custom Minoxidil Topical Serum
Start with 8% — go higher or lower. Add a DHT blocker, a growth peptide, or an anti-inflammatory. Your trichologist builds it to your scalp, from the concentration up. Available in standard or advanced liposomal base.
Most Minoxidil products lock you into 5%. Hair Scripts starts at 5% and goes up to 10%+ — concentration is just the starting point. Every add-on ingredient is optional.

Formulation Options
Formulation Options
All ingredients are optional add-ons unless specified. Your trichologist selects the combination based on your consultation.
Minoxidil (5% – 10%+)
A potassium channel opener that prolongs the anagen (growth) phase and increases follicle size through scalp vasodilation. Concentration is fully adjustable — your trichologist sets the level based on your SULT1A1 response test results and scalp tolerance.
Finasteride (optional add-on)
A Type II 5α-reductase inhibitor that reduces scalp DHT by ~70%. Adding it topically delivers DHT-blocking activity directly to the follicle with significantly lower systemic absorption than the oral form.
Dutasteride (optional add-on)
Blocks both Type I and Type II 5α-reductase, suppressing DHT by up to 95%. Approximately 3× more potent than finasteride. Added when maximal DHT suppression is indicated.
Cetirizine (optional add-on)
A second-generation antihistamine that inhibits prostaglandin D2 (PGD2) — a lipid shown to suppress hair growth in androgenetic alopecia. Added when scalp inflammation or PGD2 pathway activity is a factor.
Retinoic Acid (optional add-on)
Promotes cell turnover and increases scalp permeability, enhancing minoxidil absorption. Clinical studies show retinoic acid measurably improves minoxidil efficacy when compounded together.
Latanoprost (optional add-on)
A prostaglandin F2α analog that extends the anagen phase and has been shown to increase hair density and pigmentation in placebo-controlled trials.
Caffeine (optional add-on)
Stimulates follicle metabolism, counteracts testosterone-driven follicle suppression, and provides mild vasodilation. Well-tolerated and effective as part of a multi-modal topical.
Biotin (optional add-on)
Vitamin B7 is essential for keratin production. Topical delivery targets the scalp directly. Deficiency is associated with brittle hair and increased shedding.
Peptides (optional add-on)
Signal proteins — including copper peptides (GHK-Cu) and biomimetic peptides — that activate follicle stem cells, support collagen synthesis, and extend the growth cycle.
The Hair Scripts Difference
Every formula is built to your biology.
Concentrations adjusted. Ingredients added or removed based on your consultation. No preset blends. No fixed formulas.
Any Concentration
Minoxidil at 5%, 8%, 10%, or higher — set by your trichologist after reviewing your SULT1A1 response test.
Any Ingredient Combination
Add a DHT blocker, a peptide, an anti-inflammatory, or a penetration enhancer. Remove anything that doesn't fit your biology.
Trichologist-Built
Not a chatbot. Not an algorithm. A licensed trichologist reviews your intake and designs your protocol.
Competitors like Happy Head lock you into preset blends. Hair Scripts treats mix-and-match compounding as the standard, not the exception — because hair loss is biological, and biology isn't one-size-fits-all.

Consistency is critical — allow 4–6 months to assess full response.
Dosage Note
