Women's Formula

Women's Custom Topical

A Spironolactone + Minoxidil base designed for women experiencing androgenetic or hormonal hair loss. All concentrations are adjustable. Formulated without DHT blockers that carry pregnancy risk, with optional anti-inflammatory and growth-supporting add-ons.

Women's hair loss is not the same as men's — and it shouldn't be treated that way. This formula starts with the right base for female pattern loss and builds from there.

Formulation Options

Formulation Options

All ingredients are optional add-ons unless specified. Your trichologist selects the combination based on your consultation.

Minoxidil (2% – 5%+, adjustable)

The same evidence-backed vasodilator used in men's formulas, dosed appropriately for women. Concentration is set by your trichologist based on your SULT1A1 response and scalp tolerance.

Spironolactone (optional add-on)

An anti-androgen that blocks androgen receptors and reduces androgen-driven follicle miniaturization. Effective for women with elevated androgens or confirmed hormonal hair loss. Not appropriate during pregnancy.

Retinoic Acid (optional add-on)

Enhances minoxidil penetration by increasing scalp permeability and promoting cell turnover. Shown to improve efficacy when combined with minoxidil in clinical studies.

Hydrocortisone (optional add-on)

A mild corticosteroid added when scalp inflammation is contributing to hair loss. Reduces redness, sensitivity, and inflammatory signals that disrupt the follicle cycle.

Caffeine (optional add-on)

Stimulates follicle metabolism and counteracts androgen-mediated follicle suppression. A mild vasodilator that complements the minoxidil base.

Peptides (optional add-on)

Biomimetic signal peptides including copper peptides and growth factor analogs that activate follicle stem cells and support the anagen phase.

The Hair Scripts Difference

Every formula is built to your biology.

Concentrations adjusted. Ingredients added or removed based on your consultation. No preset blends. No fixed formulas.

Any Concentration

Minoxidil at 5%, 8%, 10%, or higher — set by your trichologist after reviewing your SULT1A1 response test.

Any Ingredient Combination

Add a DHT blocker, a peptide, an anti-inflammatory, or a penetration enhancer. Remove anything that doesn't fit your biology.

Trichologist-Built

Not a chatbot. Not an algorithm. A licensed trichologist reviews your intake and designs your protocol.

Competitors like Happy Head lock you into preset blends. Hair Scripts treats mix-and-match compounding as the standard, not the exception — because hair loss is biological, and biology isn't one-size-fits-all.
